Identify each cat clearly and provide the owner’s and veterinary practice’s current contact details in your private handoff. Keep any emergency arrangements and permissions agreed directly with the relevant people. This website does not collect those details or contact a caretaker.
Copy the established feeding plan accurately
Use the current food and quantities from the plan you already follow. Distinguish grams, package fractions and feeder settings; do not let a vague scoop instruction replace a measured amount. Include relevant veterinary instructions supplied for that cat, without inventing changes. Our portion converter can help with arithmetic only when the target and exact food energy information are already established.

Show where the ordinary work happens
Label the food, water, litter and cleaning supplies. Identify any device that needs a particular refill or cleaning sequence, and leave its instructions available. Walk through a normal visit together where possible. A caretaker should not have to guess which replacement filter or food bag belongs to which item.
Leave a route for unexpected changes
Describe what should prompt contact with the owner or veterinary team under your agreed arrangements. Record observations plainly rather than assigning a diagnosis. A missed meal, changed behavior or equipment failure should not disappear into a completed checklist. Keep the note current when the food, equipment or care instructions change.
